Second prize  IMPSOL contest [36 social housing for young people].

It is a linear block oriented to east and west, that gives light to all the houses and creates an urban park south oriented. Located in the highest and flattest part of the solar, the views and topographical and geotechnical conditions are improved [minimum rock excavation in the basement].

We reduce the height of the flats to a minimum [2.60m] to reduce the impact in an area where was only intended PB + 2. The south façade features a gallery as a shade ventilated house, the optimal system to the Mediterranean climate. The north facade is formalized with a gallery with a more opaque treatment. The ground floor has a socle character and formally breaks the staircase of the building unifying p + 1 and p + 2 behind skin that gives a continuous picture of bp + 1.

The structure consists of a concrete frames and slabs with prefabricated prestressed precast slabs. This system doubles the speed of execution of work regarding traditional formwork systems also reduces the emission of CO2, is recyclable and does not cause waste. It also allows economy and cost control.

The facade has two different skins. Firstly, the outside is formed by panels of sheet deploye, varying the orientation of perforations. Moreover, the walls of inner enclosure (now protected from rain) are helping to recover the local tradition as they will be coated monolayer mortar the same color as the red earth, characteristic of the area, and the green of the pines. The wet cores are grouped north and connected on-site facilities to studs passing through the courtyards and the north gallery. The facilities are resgistrables from the common courtyard, very important for future maintenance.
